Arrangements are under way for the following Fundraising Plus training events:

Raising Money from the Pubic

An introduction to public fundraising, such as collections, sponsored events, fundraising events etc.

Loan Finance for third sector organisations

An introduction to loans as a source of finance for voluntary and community organisations, and a chance to think about when loans might be appropriate, as well as consider the financial and governance implications. This workshop is delivered in partnership with the Charity Bank and Rollits and funded by the Charity Bank.

Prove It!

An introduction to gathering evidence to a) prove the need for your project when making grant applications, and b) prove how your project has acheived its outcomes when reporting at the end of a grant.

The Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank Foundation supports registered charities, community and voluntary organisations with grants for work that fits under one of four themes:

  • The advancement of environmental protection or improvement
  • The advancement of citizenship through initiatives that support and promote volunteering
  • The advancement of financial education including initiatives that promote accessibility to both financial education and financial services
  • The advancement of community development through initiatives that build and strengthen the communities in which the banks operate
