Introducing the the team of staff members at HANA.
Francis Ahiakpa
Finance Officer
ACCA Affiliate, Francis has worked as HANA's Finance Officer since October 2010. Francis has worked for a number of years with HANA as a Development Worker in the DRE team.

Rasul Ahmadi
Community Development Worker (Mental Health)
Rasul joined HANA as a volunteer in 2010 and became a member of staff in July 2011.
Rasul has a background in community arts and works with different communities to help them develop art projects using their own traditional materials. Rasul studies a degree in community studies at The University of Hull and has previously completed a course on "Theories of Race and Ethnicity' at the University of Dublin.
Rasul speaks Kurdish, Persian, Arabic and Swedish.

Patty Cacho
Community Development Worker (Mental Health)
Patty has lived in Hull since 1997 and studied a degree in Child and Youth Studies at Lincoln University. Patty's previous experience is in working with children and young people, raising ethnic awareness in schools and supporting charities dealing with mental health issues. Patty speaks Spanish and understands a little bit of French.
Patty joined HANA in May 2010 bringing with her her previous experience of community development with the Latin American communities in Hull.

Hamad Mustafa
Community Development Worker (Mental Health)
Hamad came to Britain in 1990 to study economics and completed a PhD in The University of Hull. Hamad is married and has four children.
Hamad joined HANA in 2009.

Chinyere Ogamba
Community Development Worker (Mental Health)
Chinyere started working with the DRE Project in July 2011 as a Community Development Worker (Mental Health). She is a trained registered nurse (RMN).
She has a background in Educational Psychology, Counselling and International Studies.
She has experience of working in the cummunity both paid and unpaid supporting people with severe/enduring mental health problems.

Abel Rivera
Chief Officer
Abel is HANA’s Chief Officer.
Abel has lived in Hull since 1995 when he first came to study parliamentary politics at The University of Hull. Abel joined HANA in July 2010.
"I have worked all my life to help people who need support. I see my job as an opportunity to help others to improve their chances of success in our local communities. Jane Thompson
Fundraising Plus Coordinator
Jane joined the staff team at HANA in July 2009. She brings many years of experience of supporting voluntary and community groups from her previous work at Hull CVS and Hull and East Yorkshire Mind. Jane also speaks French.

Linda Tock
Coordinator (Delivering Race Equality)
Linda joined HANA in September 2009 having worked more than 20 years in the community and voluntary sector in Hull. Linda has a background in Community Development both in this country and abroad. Having worked in mental health for a number of years both in London, and in Hull with Hull and East Yorkshire Mind she brings with her a diverse range of skills.

Edina Zelihic
Employability Training Programme Coordinator
Edina started with HANA in August 2011 to run our WNF funded project, supporting people from BME communities to be better able to enter the job market.
Edina brought with her experience from her previous volunteering roles with HANA and the Bosnia Herzegovina Association.
