Cooking with Different Cultures and Learning About their Food
The
programme for Monday 12 December is 'Cooking with Different Cultures'.
This particular 'Cooking Pot' event in partnership with DOC and the
Goodwin Development Trust.
We have in the menu 'Iraqui
Biryani' and 'Persian Fesenjoon'. A group of ladies will give a
demonstration on how to cook these traditional receipes and there will
be an opportunity to learn about their cultures and traditions. The programme starts at 12:30pm at the Community Enterprise Centre.
To supplement these exciting dishes we will have the Russian Community
giving us a demonstration on how to prepare a traditional Ukrainian
salad based on potatoes, beetroot and other vegetables known as

Gvants Lakh Kushia will be preparing traditional Indian deserts to round out a day of international cooking with a sweet taste.
