The Views of BME People are Heard: The 'Hullness' Debate

During 2011, ARC will be organising 12 debates accross the city to ask people who live and work in Hull what they think. The 'Hullness' Debate will be helpful to all those involved in shaping the future of the City.

HANA held the first debate involving people from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds on 27th October at the Community Enterprise Centre. The purpose of the debate was to ensure that people from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds share their views and ideas for shaping the future of the City.

The debate was lively with many ideas of what makes Hull unique alongside the identification of outstanding architecture in the City. Ideas for future developments and places for redevelopments were identified with some interesting thoughts on the local character of the City.
