The Chinese Cooking Pot (Food and Culture)

This event is part of the 'Cooking Pot' project which is a partnership between HANA and DOC. The Cooking Pot of Chinese Culture will be delivered by the Hon Lok Senior Association and it will include cooking demonstrations and hands on experience of traditional cooking style. Everyone is invited to this event which promises to be a great learning experience!

Committees and Fundraising: A training day with the Basis Project

This is a day's training led by Hussein Mahamad of the Basis Project, aimed at Refugee Community Organisations, but open to all groups involving and supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
- The morning session will focus on committees and meetings - including the role of the chair and creating a good atmosphere.

Safe Talk Training - Become Suicide-Alert

We have still place available in the Management Course which will take place on 7 December at the Community Enterprise Centre. This course is to community leaders and those interested in managing projects, ideally suited for leaders of the BME sector. The course will equip participants with proven tools and techniques to cope with the recession or deal with the crisis before it arises.
